One Dozen Hurricane Survival Tips!

If you live in a hurricane or flood zone, here’s what you should do to stay safe.

  1. Move to another location. Yes, sell your house and move to high ground.

  1. Canoe, kayak, raft, boat and personal floatation devices (PFD’s) handy
  2. Flashlights and batteries handy in your vehicles, house, office and pockets.
  3. CASH money, and, or small gold & silver coins
  4. First aid kit in your car, house, office and pocket
  5. Water supply for 5-7 days
  6. 30 Day food supply properly stored in dry location.
  7. Hand held radios for maintaining contact with family members
  8. Firearms and ammunition for defending against looters
  9. Portable generator and gasoline for electricity
  10. Family documents in a waterproof container
  11. Family Bible or Torah
